I found that they, DMV, will not offer the ST plates you have to request them.

Well I just walked out of a DMV office $305 lighter in the pocketbook. Of course I had a new trailer which needed a title, plates and registration good thru April of this year, and went ahead with registering thru April of 2022 to avoid another trip. TA plates of course. Maybe they will pass reduced pricing by the time I need to renew again, but then we are talking about Illinois.

Lower the cost......hot air from the windbags

Not yet. Just paid the full $118. Should arrive any day now. This makes absolutely no sense.
