Got out Monday in a boat is a strip mine. Got into some crappie about 7 total and some missed hook sets. Jig under a bobber. Bobber set shallow snot 24”. Some crappie were over 12”

Got Tuesday in a retention pond. Last year no crappie here yesterday got about 20 and they came in groups. Jig under float again set about 12”. Used mid south tubes and trout magnets. Noticed bugs emerging from lake that made me switch to smaller trout magnet and got more bites
