I had not caught a crappie on my lake since May of 2016. I headed out today with water reading 38. I found a spot with 44 in 15 foot. I tied in a new bait that came in mail yesterday the 2" inch fle fly crappie kicker in money milk color with 1/32 jig. I caught a small bass on first cast. After another bass and a big gill I caught a 13" white crappie. A 13" walleye and a 10" black crappie. Pretty good for an hour in cold water in a place that has not given up a crappie in a year even in a 15 boat panfish tournament in September. I also sprayed bubble gum spray on bait. I came across them while searching for white bass videos a couple weeks back
