Howdy all. This is my first post as a new member, and I felt compelled to reply to a fellow crappie fisherman's post.... Someone that certainly sounds to be experiencing some of the same back problems as me. I've been down for the last month and am soon having surgery to hopefully fix my herniated disc. Been fighting this issue for half of my life and have been through so many chiropractor visits, physical therapy, MRIs, pain/steroid injections, and of course missed time at work - and more importantly - missed time on the water.
With any luck, my next post will be a month or so from now with some pics of a solid limit!
Clfarms, send me a PM if that's of any help.
Good luck Steve. Hope they get it resolved quickly.
Hoping they get it figured out and fixed for you!

I healed as of right now they are doing nothing
I have had a herniated disk since I was a teenager. Flares up once a year or so especially if I do something stupid. I try to stay in shape and keep my weight down. When it's good I don't even remember I do everything from elk hunting trips to loading deer in my truck. When it does go out I am miserable and can barely walk straight.
Just turned 40 so need to learn to be more careful. My mind still thinks I am 25 but my body can't keep up lol. From my research surgery is not the way to go unless it's a problem that will not go away. The last doctor I spoke to told me over 80% of the people who get back surgery have very little to no relief.
Good luck to you.
