Evergreen lake saugereye bite when

I was told of a nice crappie bite starting last week during the warm weather, but all picts I was shown seem to be 9-9.5 fish at best. My question (help) I am totally unfamiliar with this new saugereye bite (heard most are just short of limit size) but sounds like that would be a fun tug on the line. Can anybody tell me the temperure time of spring which would be good for a good bite. Thanks

PRE SPAWN is now for sauger/walleye.Try trolling Glass Shad Raps or FlickerShad/FlickerMinnows.When you find them switch to Jig and minnow or Jig and plastics.Idont know much about Evergreen ,but it works on the Illinois and Mississippi rivers. Give it a try.
