Water up north end was 70 degrees south end 64 degrees. Still not finding any fish shallow no luck this time in Houseboat cove maybe water to warm just inside Y cove to the right the standing brushy tree in about 12 feet of water produced a few, highway 10 cove produced a few, north of west access ramp along the shore on left pulling into first cove downed trees 20 ft of water produced some nice fish, and the biggest share were caught in Jungle cove about 1/3 of the way in on the right is 2 big downed trees. Had to sit right on the end of the trees and use crappie pole dropping down into the branches which produced lots of good fish. Slip bobbers and minnows was my method chartreuse jig head. I'm 64 but still love watching that bobber go down. Use the lightest bobber possible big bobber wont detect some of the light bites. Friends with me in their boat had bigger bobbers and no long crappie pole fishing same area I had 15 Friday they got 5. Have fun everyone and good luck only my third time on this lake but I will be back it is a great fishery lots of great fishing spots and again everybody I met was friendly and helpful.
