    Default Lake ShelbyVille Report

Well guys we got here yesterday on Wednesday With high hopes of the Crank bite and trolled the lake from eagle creek all the to Lithia with little reward. We did manage to catch enough to satisfy the guys on my boat but very slow today on Thursday we spider rigged some primary points and secondaries on the main lake in the same area and had better luck but caught alot of short fish!! After thinking about it more we put all the rigging stuff away and got out the jig pole and beat the brush up and standing timber in 17 to 25 FOW. We had a great day and plan on finishing up on Friday fishing the same way. I won't be seeing most of ya at Crankn Fest. I'm on this trip with some good friends of mine and we are leaving Saturday morning. Best of luck guys going to the Crankn fest. The crank bite may change for you guys but all my stuff is staying in the rod locker for now. Fish deep, Fish Small and Watch out for them pleasure BOATS!!! They act like they own this LAKE!! Lol I'll post pics later when I gather them from the other 3 guys I got with me. ToadFrog

Found some yesterday off main lake drop offs near lay downs. Jogging with Minnow. Also just wanted to point out that docks like the one at wolf creek are made for launching and loading not for sitting there eating your lunch. People in a pontoon boat sitting there tied up made it a lot harder for everyone else

Too bad you had to leave early. Would have liked the chance to get some
info from you about Shelbyville, other than what you posted. Maybe next
time. You seem to know your way around that lake for crappie!
