What does taking out all those huge flatheads do to the fishery? Anything? Lots of years to get that big!

We keep less than half of the flatheads we catch. Most trips we only keep one if any the rest are CPR. We only kept 6 of the ones in these pictures.

Awesome. How many times have you had a turtle snake or beaver/muskrat be there in place of a fish

I've wanted to know the answer to that for a while. I've seen some big snapping turtles in the lakes around here, and I like my hands the way they are lol

Never! The one thing all the things people worry about have in common is the all breath air and the holes we check are completely under water. Not saying they couldn't swim by or through but there is no reason for them to stay in a hole completely under water. Just like most things they are more scared of us than we are of them and will flee rather than try to "attack".

Plenty of Channels to eat. I would like to see 80% of the Big Flatheads released. A beautiful Beast those Flatheads. I am happy to see you release some of those flatheads. Nice Job.
