Default Kentucky lake this past week

Men's group from church took are annual trip to ky lake. We stay at moors resort. Got there wed evening and was greeted with rain, gusting winds, thunder, and lighting. Thursdays forecast was calling for perfect weather. Got out on big bear creek spider rigging. Fished drop offs out from any pea gravel banks we could find. Fish were not shallow anywhere. Fish were deep in wood or brush. 8 ft down in 11ft of water. Best fish came on minnow rigs. Caught a 2lb and 1.3 and the rest were 10 in fish. Lots of short fish. Same thing fri. Overall a good trip. Lake is ready to bust open.Name: uploadfromtaptalk1462199518277.jpg

Looks like you guys hit it about right. I plan on being down there toward the end of the month for a little shell cracker action.
