DNR Officers on Sangchris today

Had a little visit with a couple of CPOs today. I just finished fishing in the West arm of Sangchris and was putting rods and stuff away getting ready to head in when they come flying up to me and wanted to check everything out.
They ended up checking most of our 20 crappies and asked a bunch of questions. They couldn't find anything wrong and left. I swear they seem even more unhappy when they cant find anything to write a ticket for. I've never seen them at Sangchris, so I'm wondering if this is going to be a recurring thing out there now.
As for the fishing, it was great. Caught a limit on the first stop in less than 2 hours. Water temp was a little warmer today (62) and we fished jigs and minnows on a brush pile in 14'. Jigs and minnows were equally effective.

Seen them out there plenty, in the past asked a couple questions and moved on. Usually a pretty decent guy. But I here there may be a new one in this area. Started last year maybe???

I don't have a problem with them doing their job but I have seen way too many with attitudes. Must be some reason Illinois calls them CPO and most other places call them game wardens. Just saying....

I'm glad to see them out checking also .....can't speak to the over exuberant attitude....but if you've ever bank fished for salmon in Wisconsin...They are VERY aggressive. I have had to show them the hook mark to prove they were hooked in the mouth.

I have observed people ignoring the rules in a pretty blatant fashion.
