Water has ranged from 47-57 in the last week I have been out on shelbyville and Mattoon. The biggest factor for our success has been to downsize our jig size and fish slow. We have found fish in 18" of water and 25ft of water. Afternoons are always better than the mornings this time of year. Friday, Saturday, Sunday we actually caught quite a few males with spawning colors showing on them. I was pretty surprised but I look for things to stay the same looking at the forecast. I'll be in Mississippi for a while, y'all hold it down here.

If anyone is interested in booking with me I only have dates left in May so don't wait to get a day booked!
