Newbie From Jerseyville looking for tips for sonar

Hi everyone! I'm a newbie here looking for some insight and tips on how to boat more crappies all year instead of just in the Spring. Does anyone have and tips on using Sonar?? Normally I only use it for depth when running on plain and temp. But since I have it "I know it can be a valuable tool for locating crappie. Would anyone have any tips? Thanks so much!!
