Shelbyville Reoprt 10/12/15
The Crappie are starting to move back in some of the major creek arms on south end. Look for the coolest water you can find in 6-8 fow and start side scanning the banks. If you don't have side scan and you know were you caught them in the past in the depth I mention above it's time to go check your old spots. Buy lots of good lively Minnows. (Spillway Bait Shop) Use slip corks and set the depth shallow at first and work your way down to top of the brush. If you don't get bit in 5-10 min. move to your next spot. Sorry I couldn't make it to fall camp this weekend, been busy as of late. I still have some openings in last two weeks of Nov. The Crappie bite will be on then for the biggins. Hope everyone had a good time. Looks like I missed some good food and my t-shirt again...enjoy

Good Report FishFryed, I was at Lithia on Saturday and you had to take a number to get on stickups... But the best bite was brushpiles they couldn't tie up to!
Days are getting shorter, and nights cooler... Only going to get better. Can't wait till the north end heats up some.... Will save some on gas running down there!

Water temps were dropping nicely with this cool snap. So we headed mid lake to north end and had a good day on the same kind of pattern mention above in my fist post. Water temps will be on the rise again this week so I look for the fish to pull out some in to a little deeper water but close to were you have caught them up shallow. Still using minnows under slip bobber. Jigs will work but for numbers they still have minnows on the menu.
