Crappie Masters - Rend Lake

Mean green how long was your big fish and how long would you say your average was for 7 fish? From what we saw in our time down there it seems like there's a good class of 13 3/4-13 7/8" fish in the lake.

Our biggest was 14.5" average was 14"

Now that is one heck of an average! We went to rend on Sunday and caught about 200 small ones. Only kept 5. Haven't mastered the bushes yet but had some luck in there a few weeks back. This is my first year targeting crappie and am having a lot of fun. Its a lot more challenging then bass fishing. Looking forward to figuring out the summer patterns.
