Thread: Rend info

I would like to try Rend for a day or two this week. Where is a convenient place to launch coming from Paducah?

I like to vertical jig, are the bushes productive now, or should I try deeper water?

Any navigation hazards to be aware of? Any good places to eat on the water?

Stay away from Rend Lake Resort. They have a couple nice looking ramps, but the motel etc is a dump. I won't go into details.
Yes I believe the bushes are hot right now. Minnows are getting hard to find

Go to Luke's in Sesser, get minnows and hit the bushes. Be prepared for lots of company as there are a ton of boats out fishing.
