Fished Lake of Egypt for the first time this weekend. Pre fishing was ok. Rained from Thursday night til Saturday morning. 1st day of tournament was 55 degrees and torrential rain but that didn't stop us. We struggled on day one trying to put together a pattern. Fish were relating to outside weedlines and main lake points. 2nd day we put together a good pattern fishing cork and minners shallow. Dipping open pockets in weed clumps and outside weed lines. All in all we learned alot. Ended up in 19th place. Kyle Schoenner and Rodney Nehaus took home 1st place.
