    Default broken sonar transducer

I have a Lowrance transom mount sonar transducer that has broken at the arm bend. Hate to just discard it. Does anyone know of a way to salvage/repair the transducer? Thanks for any help.

I watched a YouTube video where the guy drilled a new hole in the transducer and mounted it back in the bracket.

If you have both pieces, you could try superglue, etc., you don't have much to lose cause if the TD doesn't work, it was already broke.

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

I have repaired a couple of broken mounts. I found a 2 part plastic repair kit at Lowes. It is a Epoxy made specifically for plastic, made by Loctite. Main thing I found is follow directions to a T and it holds very well. Still have one I repaired 4/5 years ago. I used three coats on it. First to get it stuck together then 2 more to expand and reinforce it.

I had th same problem. JB Weld did the trick for me. It's been over a year and it is still holding.

Well folks, I have used the Loctite 2 part plastic epoxy(home depot $6) to glue my transducer back together. I put a total of 3 thin coats for the repair. Will post again after using it on the water. Name: IMG_0292.jpg
