When I joined CDC I had a Lowe 180 boat hence the name. That boat is history but "Tracker Rider" just wouldn't sound right. 😄

Pesce!!!! Great point on the views!
Nothing fancy just my intials
First name and like to crappie fish. Fish more than I catch though.
In the Marines we call each other by our last names, most would screw up mine, and Hanr stuck. 3-third attempt for the state to get my plate correct.
Thanks for your time Tim and everyone else!!
Mine came from high school baseball were I would pitch when the team was desperate. I could throw about a 30mph fastball and the guys would yell throw him the meat instead of the heat.
My nick name is Bo been called that since I was a baby. [63years] last name Arnold. Boa but it was taken and I just kept going till I got one that wasn't. Thus Boa3
It is very nice to hear from all about all are CDC screen names, it would be very very nice if all us CDC members from Illinois could meet one weekend in this new year and i mean all of us in a centrally located fishing hole and have the biggest shindig out of all the other states and set a record for the largest meeting of CDC members. Lets make Illinois CDC the largest meeting on the planet who's in, it would be the greatest meeting of all, and if i had to park my boat on the trailer on shore and fish to make room for others i would. So lets get talkin and lets get workin and make it happen the largest CDC meeting. NO excuses
I'm in buddy.
We have a spring Crappie Camp every year at Lake Shelbyville, Eagle Creek State park. Dates and other pertinent info can be found in the thread.

See you there.
May 15-17. Pesce, you coming down aren't ya? We had a good turn out the first 2 years and foresee it getting bigger every year. Fine food, fine music and fine friends.
Yes i'm in, would not miss it for the world. Pat i was talking to Slab and he thinks the largest CDC get together was about 200 or more CDC members and it took place in the south, i sure would like to see that number topped, to meet that many CDC members in one place, my word what a great time it would be to meet all of them and hear all the fish stories and break bread together, yikes would have to have the big Guber come and be the guest speaker, i'd bet he would come with the real Guber BB.
Pesce...it was really awesome to meat everyone! You talk to guys on yea and when you finally get to meat them face to face is cool!! Put a face with them! I hadn't met a bad guy yet of the group. I had the time of my life last year at shelbyville!!!! I am definately in this year as long as work don't get in the way! You know why they call it WORK instead of fish right? Awesome thread folks!!!

Been bowfishing offf and on for the past 20 yrs and finally me and some friends started a club here in Southern Illinois several years back and started competing in a lot of tournaments and doing pretty good well this was my email address that went on our entry cards and instead of everyone remembering my name they remembered my email address instead and in less than a year this name stuck to this day I don't think half the ppl I have competed against knows my real name
Welcome garslayer to the site. My oldest son who is 25 wants to bow fish but I'm not set up for it. He has just had his first child born in Sept. and I have to get him a trip up here on Shelbyville this year.
I used to do a lot of traveling shooting pretty much all over but we mainly stick to the Ohio, Big Muddy, Tennessee and Cumberland rivers anymore but have shot with guys from up around Shelbyville and always heard good things about the lake both from a bowfishing and fishing in general stand point.I personally have only been up there a couple times duck hunting and from what little I have seen myself I liked it
mine is related to my lifelong occupation...it's not really conducive to making a lot of new friends in my line of work...so I keep it under the radar and use it sparingly on the internet...I saw some others were using handles related to their occupation so I thought why not? From what I have seen, and cdc members I have spoken to, all have been friendly and willing to share advice & experiences. Great/fun thread!
garslayer,
you need to come on up and bow fish the Illinois River for Asian Carp.

My cdc name was a term created by the group of guys I met down bank fishing on shelby. They lived in area and I would have to drive home 3 hours they would say 3morecasts and we leave needless to say that the term was said several times as the rule is if fish caught had to start 3morecasts over again. These guys are great fishermen and I was late getting home many times due to term 3morecasts.
Thats just like have one more beer, after three more.
3morecast, you must be talking about xxlfish, delmar and bobber john.
Family friendly site, so cant explane mine.
you know those 3 they have been trying to teach me how to fish for about 5 years now. I go with john and run into xxl and Delmar and it is usually a real good time and another lesson learned. I finally have moved down permanently and 3morecasts is used more as we never want to quit for the day
Have you ever heard the story why john uses that big bobber? Its one of the hollow plastic ones and he lets it fill up with water so he can cast it way out there and it also makes it easier to see bites also.
