well I was drained from getting up at 4:30am then fishing till sundown but I had fun.Thats why i didnt post last night. I went with my brother-in-law and we ended up with 27 keepers. we were fishing deeper logs and brush that was laying in 10' of water. The bad thing about it was the wind from south, but we tried our best to cope. My brother-in-law definitely caught more on a 1/16th jig in a light blue and pearl tail with sparkle throughout slabbuster/or slabgetter not sure exactly brand. I picked up some with same weight but black and pink lakefork baby shad, and black and pink strikeking shadpole. All in all it was a good day!!

YEAH there was only one other boat but by the time we got back to ramp they were gone. I also got out again sat. the fishing was good but the weather was miserable. got to the lake @1:00 and wasnt there a half hour and here comes the rain and high winds. And needless to say I didnt dress for the weather. I ended up with 7 decent fish but no whoppers. By the time the sun started to go down it was sleeting, and if you ever dealt with that going down the lake its rather painful, what we'll do to catch some fish
