Have had the opportunity several times in the last week to get out and do some fishing. The first time I went out was on Saturday and the fish around bo woods and coal shaft area for me had shut down so I had to move mid lake to find some active fish. I primarily used my side scan on protected bluff banks to find the ends of trees and brush piles in 10-20fow and the fish would be so stacked in about 1 out of 5 laydowns and piles that it wasnt even funny. The fishing would be non stop but the problem was that there was a lot of dinks mixed into the bunch. I repeated this pattern on monday and we limited out on overs in about 3.5 hours and caught around 100. Tons of dinks. Today, we elected to fish a different lake and im so glad we did. It was one of the best days of fishing iv ever had although it was only 2.5 hours. We had 38 fish over 10" in that time with several 13-14" fish. I took some videos and hope to get them uploaded here in the next few days. I'm primarily using a white head with a clear with blue sparkle tube or stinger type plastic. Looks like some warm temps so the lake should stay open. Go catchem and post some pics!
