I went out this morning to try and catch some crappies brfore the winds started howling. Went to my first spot and got 4 overs 2 unders snd 3 dinks in less than an hour. Trolled over to my next spot and got 2 more overs and 1 under from there. I was looking up at the ridge to see a decent 8 point buck trotting by. I grunted at it but he disappeared but seen him again so I grunted at him again and he stopped in his tracks and was looking towards me. Grunted a couple more times and he came running at me grunting alot, he ran down the bank and stopped at the waters edge. I bobbed my head and grunted at him again and he took 3 steps in the water right at me. I thought what the hell am I going to do if he swims at me but he just stared at me and grunted some more and just walked the banks. I got to say this was a first for me to call in a deer without using a call. I have done it twice on coyotes butnever a deer. O back to fishing, I caught most of my fish 6-12 foot deep, all on jigs. White and chart or yellow and white tubes. Its going to get nasty out so I won't be going back out for awhile.

Going down to Big Cedar Lodge on friday. I will be partaking in the beverages down there. Bloody Mary's does sound good and going on a wine trail too.

Pat, ya'll just put another log on the fire and sit back and relax. Oh great job on the fish! Pat just think if you would have caught the deer it would have been surf and turf for dinner.

Didn't think about that pesce, he was only 15 yards from me, a chip shot with a bow.
