Made it out to shelbyville sunday evening about 430 and was off the water with my fish cleaned at 7. Truth is I got tired of catching them silly crappie. Summer crappie are in full swing and it was a blast seeing them on the graph then turning around and catching hem quick. It was probably one of my top 3-4 trips of the year so far for size of fish. Landed 30-32 overs in time period and many others real close to being overs and left them biting at the 4 spots I fished. I concentrated on 15-45fow and was fishing 10-15ft deep with a simple slip cork rig. If the fish are there they usually hit it within 5-10 seconds of the bait getting down to the set level. Im concentrating on big brush piles, standing trees, and ends of some laydowns...all are producing good numbers of crappies. Here is a pic and a couple videos, sorry that its blurry! The videos were taken on back to back casts.

I hope you left some for me, I plan to get down in a few days...nice job!
Ata boy!!!! Looks like you got them good!!!
did you catch any on jigs? may get to fish on wed. or thur. but don't like to use minnows.
Good job Birdie. Stating vacation on Thursday for 9 days and plan on fishing alot during that time.
Lets go soak a line. Pat
Didnt try any jigs, I talked with a guy last night though who said they fished hard monday for them with jigs with two guys and had 9 keepers. Had lots of short hits, which I find typical for this time of year with jigs. Keep the bait moving with lots of action if you try jigs!
Well shoot, anybody can catch them on minnows. Ha. Good job Birdie.. I don't think I can cast anywhere that has 49 food of water.
I wish I had a fraction of your know-how....congrats.
You do Bob. You know where the lake is!
Looks good birdy.
