Would like to post a few pics and mention the Fishing For Freedom Event held in Quincy, Illinois this weekend. The event is a way for us to honor our Wounded Warriors and Global War on Terrorism Veterans and to show them our thanks and appreciation.
We had 4 club members participate and they were joined up with a veteran as their fishing partner and fished a crappie tournament today on Mark Twain Lake.
Member Ken Barlow partnered with veteran Kyle Samuel and won the event.
Member John Henton partnered with veteran Derek Tapley and tied for second.
Other members participating were Van Piercall and Rosetta Shinn.
