    Never seen it any worse. Small fish. No weeds, no crowds. Lots of cormorants and pelicans and loons to keep you company though. IDNR biologist said to keep all the fish under 9 inch you can.

    The small fish has been a problem for many years now. I may start keeping the 9" fish and dressing them whole.

    DNR got any ideas on how to fix the problem? Used to catch decent fish regularly. Now you catch 30-50 for every good fish you get. It's only 10 minutes to the ramp but may start running to Rend instead.

    Thin out the small ones. Crappie over run a lake if left unchecked.

    Wonder if Crab isn't due for a limit like Rend installed in 2002. Same problems and it's worked well up there.

    Rend needs a tighter limit installed now. Gone are the days of 25 fish limits per person unless you want to keep 7-8" fish.....which I do not!

    I have strict limits for a keeper. They must have 2 eyes.
