you shouldn't have to travel far..there are a number of good coves close to eagle that should be produciing well early in May...I would start at Eagle and go north if I had to pick a direction...

Nitro 7--I'd fish the ones with the "Big Fish" on them.
Trick is to fish the trees that you can't see 'cause fewer people know where they are. But usually takes either someone leaving their marker out there or 'dem new fangled eeeelectronics.
