    Default ?s about dawson lake


    has anybody been to dawson lake recently? my buddy and I are thinking about going Friday. we have never been there before but we wanted to check it out. I heard that the water was low and the ramp could be difficult. any help would be appreciated.

    i haven't been there for year or two. yes the ramp leaves a lot to be desired especially the dock. their is a good place to eat at the ramp. Dawson lake a.k.a. Moraine view is one of the lakes that the DNR will let you launch and idle around the lake with your gas motor if it's above the posted limit. it's either 10 or 25 can't recall. but that sure makes it nice. the north shore line down by the dam produced bass in the past for me. the north end of the lake should be heating up in bass activity about now.

    I love that lake. Cats & Walleye should be biting now.. As long as you stay away from the north side
