Thread: couldn't get em to bite

visited Shelbyville today but struggled. Got two bites and two fish. Both nice. They were put back for my next visit. Did anybody else have trouble getting bit today? I'm all ears if anyone has words of wisdom. Thanks.

Fished from shore for about 2 1/2 hours, had about 20-25 fish with 7 over 10 inches. Don't know how anyone else did.

I had a buddy get his limit but said took about 6 hours, did say that were nice ones though. He was fishing 8-10ft.

I was on fish for sure, I could see em at 7-9'. Fished slow but no cigar. Thanks birdman and xxlfish for the replies. You are my ville crappie-barometers!

Fished Sun and it was the same way. Seemed like the people that were on them were on them and everyone else was getting nothing. Nothing really new, gotta find structure. Ended up with 6 and a nice 15" green carp a foot off the bank.

Good thing I'm taking a week off from fishing to get the honey do's done. Look like I'm not missing much or the crappies are sad from not seeing my ugly mug on the water. Sorry guys.

Pat just keep doin your honey do's... They ain't bitin and won't be till ice up! Ha. No, they're biting just fine. I think people are just not posting up as much right now. I know iv been lazy about it lately.

There ain't no fish in shelbyville.Might as well drain it haha
