boat title and minnow sales

Have had a boat title app.sent in to dnr. for 6 months and still do not have the title.have a change to sell the boat but no title. has anyone else had this problem with dnr. not getting a title out. Wanting to go to sangchris,can anyone tell me where the closest minnow shop to the east ramp?

common problem in Illinois although they say they are caught up. Also u don't say but was/is this title for a newly bought boat either new or used? Did u pay the sales tax to state? If u pay then get out copy of paperwork & call IDNR in Springfield (may have trouble them answering call just got to keep at it) and ask them where it is at. Last year they said OK to use boat just keep copies of all paper work in boat & IDNR would not ticket you---make the call-----
Really this is why I tell all folks to go to currency xchange with your paper work & application and let them do paper work and let them send it in---so when this happens you just go to currency xchange with your receipts show them and they will make the calls for you AND they know just who to call as they have connections and can get through 100x faster than me/you etc.

Bought a used boat late last year, I think it took 4-5 months for mine....which just arrived last week.

Bought the boat in Sept got tiltle in March 2 weeks ago still waiting on sticker for registration. When you call after 20 minutes on hold get to talk to a person they are working on apps from late Nov of 13 decals arent made waiting to arrive from maker should get reg sticker in april. Illinois sucks and I have live here for 61.5 years if wife would move i would be gone tomorrow.

Bought mine n may of 2013 and finally got it n nov only to find out dnr didn't like how I filled out the form only to send it back to me for an affidavit to have filled out. Needless to say I'm still waiting on that title. Nothing like getn n a hurry

I bought used boat in Mo October 2013 and got title by EOY. I called last week to see where my registration was and I hung up when VRU started. I called right back and got an agent. Same sticker story as djcoop52 but she emailed me my registration so I could get Crab stickers. She even stayed on the phone to make sure the email arrived. I got lucky on that call.

Bought a new boat in June of 2013 didn't get registration back until end of December. Typical State of Broke Illinois.

When i bought mine i guess 2 years ago I got the title in less than a month
