Took Son and Grandson to Mill Creek yesterday got one nice 11 inch fat crappie at 7:50 am and not another fish the rest of the day. Marked fish every location we tried but could not get them to bite. Tried everything in the box fished from 5 ft to 22 ft deep most fish located were in deep water fished all the usual spots thet work and nothing. Nice day though got up the 70 degrees still some ice along south edges of a few bays water temp 42 degrees. Talke to another guy at the dock he fished for crappie and bass and only one bit all day. First trip out for the year so that was good everything running good. Happy fishing.
