birdy, what was your thinking on fishing so shallow this early in the season?
Fish go shallow immediately after ice out every year. They want to get warm just like we do and shallow muddy water warms up real fast. That and wood gives off additional heat, more than brush piles, so I always target solid wood early in the year too.Quote:
