So I hear parts of egypt are thawed. I really wanna try out my new hummingbird fish finder any body have any pointers. On where to put in and a place to get minnows and license . Thanks.

Ramps on north end are in warm water, pyramid or Macks $5 fee. Minners at Cookseys on hwy 148 & old Rt 13 Marion. license at Walmart. make sure you get a copy of the Egypt rules and regulations when you go in to pay your parking fee. no fishin within 10 foot of Docks, some necks are restricted all together.

Cooksies gives the best count but it's a long ride. There is a new place ('Just Add Water') right near the entrance to Paradise off Lake of Egypt road. Bait is fresh and lots of tackle too.
