Default I had Grouse Fly make me some jigs

GF and I communicated back and forth a few times and based on what I told him I was looking for, he made a couple recommendations and I asked him to pour me two different styles of jigs. I wanted 1/4 ounce, with a #2 hook and as light of a wire hook as I could get. That style is about as perfect a jug as I could get. He also poured a similar jig, but with a longer shank. It isn't as light a wire as the other, but it is a really nice jig. I'm thinking it just may end up being my favorite of the two styles. I've never found jig heads for the price he charged me either. He is very reasonable, if you guys need any poured. I had him pour me 200 total, but I may get some more and be set for awhile. Although, with Pam in the boat, maybe not...

The bottom one is what I've been using from Mike's in Decatur. The middle one is the ELW. The top one isn't as light of wire as the ELW, but is lighter than the one's I've been getting from Mike's. Even with shipping, these from Grouse Fly were $.13 each. Pam and I enjoy painting them together, but Grouse Fly also paints them for an extra nickel and that includes eyes.

He also pours some Great wire keeper jig heads. I have placed several orders with him and his jig heads are always top notch!
