Fished it yesterday. I use the ramp right across from the plant.Good ramp with nice docks. There is enough coves/fingers to get out of wind if it gets too bad. Plant is running and crappie are biting. 72° in hot water arm 59° in main lake

Fishing on fire there. Getting outta wind is pretty easy.....getting away from boater with oversized motor for the lake is not. Good luck.

We fished Coffeen 1/1/14. Two of us caught 20 with the biggest being 1lb 14 oz. A lot over 1lb.

Fished all over the lake 12/27/13 and got a few. Reading how everybody is just loading the boat with them thought i will go again went 12/31/13 even worse did not get half a one man limit. So i called the heavy hitter a secret weapon of mine he and his buddy went 1/1/14 long poles tubes under floats and even hate to say it minners. Now these are not pros by no means but to hear them call it they are not far off and these boys got a lesson on casting that day and never caught a single crappie. So there is the truth and i am wondering how many fish are really being caught and how many fish stories are being told. I to am no pro but i sometimes get lucky. So you all landing these limits of big fish at coffeen lets see them....... Hell i need to see them to remember what they look like and to get the blood pumping to stay out in the cold. Show us wanna bees the pics!

White/ chart and chart.glitter. 4-6' corking em fishing in 14' - 20' of water. Just got to figure out the pattern. They ain't gonna gonna be everywhere ya gotta move.Or at least I did. I wouldn't waste my time in hot water ditch even though they are there.
