Thread: Ice thickness?????

Just wondering if anybodys got brave yet and checked out the ice ?

Went out friday morning and did real good. The ice was over 4 1/2" here in Shelby county and was real good ice too. No air bubbles and didn't even cracked. Caught over 30 big gills and 3 crappies over 11". Hope the ice stays for awhile but the temps are going to warm up some.

Thanks for the info im assuming your fishing ponds. Im actually suprised the ice is that thick thats great news!!!

Yep, fishing ponds, I don't trust lake ice around here.
