I know I'm 200 miles due north of the 'Ville, but our 15 acre lake we live on has been locked up since Monday. I've been here for almost 10 years and this is way earlier than I've ever seen it. Totally screwed up my goose hunting. That cold snap pushed all the birds out. I've taken one all week. Granted, I only hunt when I see birds around because it is such a long walk across the back yard to the field. LOL!

Sucked a pair in and dropped this beast. The A5 jammed on first shot, so I didn't get the pair. I hate doing that, because I'm afraid the remaining one gets lonely. The breast meat on this one is over three pounds.
