I took a drive to the lake this evening. I seen the okaw was iced up but not sure how far down the the lake the ice goes. I think we are going to get the boat back out since there dont seen to be many ducks left around to shoot at. I am sure there is still plenty of open water.

There was ice north of wilborn but by 1:00 it was mostly open. Should be completely open in the next day or so.

Ice at Whitley up to and past Fox Harbor . Put in at Coal Shaft , no ice there . Fished in No Name with my Brother and Grandson . We pulled 3 limits from there in about 3.5 hours . Water was 37 degrees . We fished 8 to 10 feet deep around structure . Had to hold jigs dead still . Some would thump it good and some bites you would feel a little weight on your line . A little cool to start ( 21 degrees ) but not to bad .
    Excellent
