I havn't been fishing for about 2 weeks now and don't know if I'll make it out this weekend or not so I thought I would get the old muzzleloader out and sight it in for next weekend. I went to the Windsor Gun Club and set things up and fired my first shot and waited for the smoke to clear and the guy sitting at the next firing station said "wow, nice shot". When I looked I was amazed, at 100 yards, my shot was only 1/2" above the bullseye. I thought I was just lucky and never let 1 shot be enough to satisfy me so I reloaded and took another shot. The other guy said I don't think you even hit the target that time and I didn't see a hole either through my binocs. I reloaded again and aimed at a differant spot on the target, fired again and this time I was only 1" to the right of the bullseye, thats good enough for me so I went and got my target and when I looked at the first hole I notice the second shot went through the same hole but only about 1/4" higher. I'm good to go. Good luck to everyone that is deer hunting next weekend and be safe.
Lets go soak a line. Pat
Wow! My hero!!!!
I can't wait either, oughta be less boats on the water.
I'm so jealous! Einstein here messed up and scheduled surgery on the wrong Friday. I didn't realize until last Monday that deer season WAS NOT this weekend.
After getting a fishing report from my brother this morning from the ville, I'm going to have to go out Monday morning and catch a few for deer camp.

I'm taking the pistol w/me to the stand this year along w/the muzzleloader. Should be interesting. I'm getting some smallies and walleyes for my pond, and the delivery date is Saturday of all things. I guess enough people complained that they at least moved the time up to noon. Good luck to all. I know I feel a lot safer after deer season. Both my son and sister hit deer within days of each other. Son was pretty critical but should be ok. I had a pair chasing cross in front of me last night coming home.
