Default Took the wife and her nephew out

I had some good company today with me and needless to say my wife schooled me on fishing. She was catching more off the back of the boat that I did on the front and her nephew caught his share too. We ended up with 17 overs and 15 unders before my trolling motor batteries petered out. Here is a couple of today catches.Name: Photo135.jpg

Size: 63.2 KBI did managed to get big fish with a 12 1/2". The second pic is my bride and my fish, I did get a pic of the nephews. Oh and and in the background of me in the first pic is fishk3, he wasn't doing too bad either.

good job, but i think that is the dark cloud boat behind you in the pic! might have something to do with the trolling batteries going dead.... :-)

If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.

pat, that last spot you and I fished before you left was just loaded. probably had 8-10 fish off each tree. some yellows and bluegills too. then I moved to the next cove and not a fish. you just never know why that happens .

No way goose, now with the retirement of my shoulder from bowhunting, I will be doing more fishing than ever.

not many over 10, but a whole bunch in the 9-10 in range. I did move up the lake a little for the last hr. of fishing and did find a few overs In some standing trees. by then it was getting hot and I ran out minnows, so it was time to quit.

So no more Bowhunting for you? I am afraid that day will come for me sooner than I want! Over 30 years in construction has not been kind to my joints!
