Snuck out this afternoon with father and took him on a deep water excursion on the south end. Water temps were bouncing between 33.5-34 but we actually whacked em pretty darn good. Put together a nice little piece of the puzzle while out there today and that helped a ton. Fish are absolutely hammering the jig and some are enhailing it so far that blood is coming out of their gills from it being down their throat... thats when you know they are a thumpin it good! We used 8th and quarter oz heads paired with slab stalkers and the thumper tails from Hook it Bait. The thumper tail actually plum wore em out today, best color was the blue top with silver sparkle underside, dont know the name... maybe pat can chime in. Fish were caught 12-16ft deep over 18-30fow. Double Limit. Caught a ton. Real good afternoon with father... Ill be gone until next Sunday so get out and enjoy this nice weather coming tomorrow and saturday and post some pics to keep me living through yall. Go get em!
