Dad and myself ventured down to rend monday morning and met up with our good buddy and his son who he let play hookie that day. We started fishing about 1030 and fished untill four. We didnt fish any bridges or anything just visible and underwater structure from 1-10ft. The four of us easily caught (and this isnt a fish story) around 300 fish monday. It didnt really matter what color we used, they ate it. Birdman special, red, yellow, brown, and white tops all with chartruese bottoms all caught nice fish. Our best bait for big fish actually ended up being the BM special in HookIts flappy Mag. Monday we had 13 over 12.5 inches with 4 of those being at that 14" mark and between 80-90 over 10" total. Tuesday was a little "slower" and we only had around 175 fish. Not as good of quality but still good quantity. We found the fish to be on a little different pattern than the day before and had to adapt to them. We still had lots of fish over 11" but only four at the 13+ inch mark and only 45 over 10". Same tubes as the day before. I know it sounds like a lot of fish but according to some people down there that call rend their home days like we had are pretty normal. I just cant believe the amount of fish that lake kicks out... such an amazing fishery. Monday we kept our 40 overs and 20 unders. Tuesday we kept our 40 overs and 17 unders. If they werent 9.75 we didnt really even mess with the unders.

That being said, people need to really make sure you're only taking out your ten overs per person and dont go catch your limit and take it to your truck and then go back out. I cant do anything about it, but at 120 bucks a fish now its going to be an expensive fine when you get caught!

Not the best of pictures...tired and lots of fish to clean. We had an amazing trip, be back in spring for buck brush.
