On Saturday, January 26, 2013, the Andrea Lynn Cancer Fund (ALCF) is scheduled to host the 9th Annual WALK ON WATER Charity Ice Fishing Derby on Bangs Lake in Wauconda, Illinois.

Online registration is now open! If you would like to register/donate to the Andrea Lynn Cancer Fund, there are still many families in our local community that are in need of your support.

NOTE: Our number one priority for this event is safety. Should ice conditions and/or weather forecasts prohibit us from hosting the event, there is a "rain date" of February 16, 2013.

I agree we still had a good time last year but we need ice and fish.

hope its a real cold winter i wanna drill a hole with my new jiffy lol there was no need for a gas one last year

Soon my friends soon. The next week or so looks better for open water fishing . I'm going to hit a few small local ponds with my short boat tomorrow to look for the Green weed, Rocky bottom ,Flats etc. to put in the hand held GPS to cut down on search time on the ice. More time fishing less time searching. I go out drill a few holes in 2 or 3 spots and then go back and fish the first one and let the other 2 settle down. It seems to work well for me.

If your coming with a quad or snow mobile on a trailer Please go past Lindys landing to the Park and School lot down the street on the right. You can come back across the Ice to the check in station.
