    Default Rend Lake 11-16

Wind out of NE at about 6 mph, water temp 49 degrees on N side of 154, 50 degrees on south side 154. Fished on both sides
of highway west of sailboat harbor and at Gun Creek. Caught lots of fish, kept 10 overs and 13 unders . (9" to 9.75") Fish were caught From 2 ft to 10 ft deep along rip rap on 154 and 5 ft deep on brush in 7 fow. jig that caught the most was "Slab Slayer in junebug color. Also caught fish on black and chartruese twister tails and white twister tails. Lots of small throwbacks caught today. jig head size was 1/16 oz, jig head color was silver with glitter (home dipped). Seems like that color caught more fish than plain
or pink, green, or orange. Most fish hooked on drop of lure, rather than retrieve or when pulling up. Some fish caught fishing jig under cork set at 2 ft and thrown close to the rip rapThe bridges under 154 were crowded and we did not joing that crowd.

You should consider another career in between your fishing trips. I believe you would make an excellent outdoor writer for magizines or newspapers after reading your very detailed explanation of your latest fishing experience.
