Rend Lake

I am going to Rend on next Monday for 4 days. have not fished there in 20 years.
Would someone suggest what depth, what color jigs and what methods are best for Rend this time of
the year?

I am going to stay at Gun Creek campground, any comments on that campground woud be appreciated.

8 to 13 ft colors red char, orange char, char green, blk char, red white, blue and white. There are alot of people fishing right now be prepared for a crowd vertical jigging is the best way to catch em. Hope you have a nice trip.

No fish cleanin facilities in operation anywhere on Rend. Pick a campsite away from the water and out of the wind so ya can clean em on picnic table. Campground gets crowded on weekends, deer & fish and there is only one nonreserve loop (eagle). Sites 68, 70, 81, 83, 90, 96 have water spigots nearby otherwise you be toatin it in a bucket

Had nice fish up to 14" caught on chart jig 3 ft deep wood yesterday
