Fish are scattered on the 'ville right now but that will soon change. It will be hard to top the last 12 months on s'ville, but when the water temps drop another 5 degrees it will help alot.

Hey Birdman, I'm thinking about going down to Grenada or Enid late December what time frame are you going, and where are some good places to stay?
yankee- that right there is why I love sippi!! They are tearing them up at nader too! Nicely done!
Bowbender- We usually go down during the first gun season here in illinois in november and then in december again. We stay right there in Grenada at the like super 8 its called I think. 45 bucks a night tax included.
Sure does make me want to go and catch some of those slabs.
Hay birdy did you go in Dec last year if so how was the bite then thinking about 1st Dec.
Nice,I got to go out with my Dad sun.Don't do much good had 4.But dads 1st. fish was 14in.er I must b back in miss. but no S.IL. cut off river big wa.
slabdaddy- We actually did pretty well in december. Tore em up on sardis, and grenada we had a couple windless days and upper 60's and caught the sh*t outta them 6inches to 3 foot deep over 30-45ft
Tyler --when you go south do you Spider rig or pull cranks or do you use single line? Nice meeting you the other day.
Joe- Great to finally meet you as well! When we go south we have always spider rigged. However I do know that if you want single jiggin can be done but quantitiy of fish goes way down. In the spring there though, single pole jig fishin for some slabs is done a lot!
