Some place out of the wind indeed. The main lake was brutal, we tried Bo Woods on friday night and got uncomfortable very quickly. Saturday morning, working the wind blown shorelines wasn't much help, finally working into a cove that opened out of the wind blown shore... The surface was boiling with baitfish and swirls of predators. Nose the bow into the soft bank and dropped anchor in the sun and worked the line between sunshine and shaddows. We took a handfull of cookie cutter crappie 9-10.5 inches, lots of largemouth and way too many small whites. They all swim to fight another day. Just not enough crappie to make 2 meals.
