    Default Sangchris Report?

I'm considering fishing Sangchris this weekend for the first time in 6 months. Curious if anyone has been out lately? Any update on water temps and/or the bite would be appreciated! I'll post an update later this weekend if I do in fact make it out there.

I was out there 10 days ago and did OK. I didnt keep any but would have had a limit. There were no more than 1-2 keepers on any spot so it took many stops to get that limit. Water is still around 2 foot low with water temps in the mid 70's at the East ramp and high 60's down the west arm...but that was before this recent cold front.

I will be out there all weekend as well because I have to get a few more trips in before they close the East and West arms on 10/16/12. The NO BOAT bouys are already out there for the duck hunters.

    Good luck to you.

shelby much easier to catch limit on jigs.

Ichabod - I hear ya, wish Shelby was closer though...because I bet its going to be really hot from now till ice up.
However, its hard to pass Sangchris because its literally 15 minutes away. And in my opinion, the numbers at Sangchris do not even remotely comapre with Shelby, but the quality is better.

Thanks for the report AnyWeather. The wind/rain made me rethink fishing yesterday.

The catfish reports from Lake Springfield kept me away from Sangchris this weekend, had to go try and get one of those huge Blue's.
Didnt end up with any blue's, but caught lots of big, quality channels.
