I figured coalshaft would be good cause of the wind break and the north side of railroad bridge too. Just wondering about wilburn area in the shallow area where the trees are.

Windy Windy Windy. Pretty much sums it up. Caught some fish all over the lake from Bo woods to Eagle Creek. Coal shaft area was definitely our best area. I saw fishing pick up today from what it was a week ago, hopefully thats a good sign, but still not where it should be. Water was 55-58 and all fish were caught on HookItBait jigs. Black crappie are up shallow 1-3 foot and there are some nice whites to be had mixed in with them too. Majority of our keepers were found 5-8 foot deep over brush. I had a couple great guys with me today (Johnny and Andy) and I really enjoy having them in the boat, they make the day very enjoyable and catching is just a bonus. They caught a coupla really nice fish too! We actually caught quite a few fish I would say between 75-85 fish the overs are just still hard to come by and we finished with 34. Had a lot of nice fat 9.75" fish today that were whites that I wasnt seeing a week ago. Time will tell whats comin!
