Went out with Tyler yesterday and had a lot of fun. Caught some nice fish and learned a lot about fishing shallow(something I knew little about before yesterday). I did find that 4lb test does NOT work fishing these brushpiles like it does fishing the south end of the lake. Moreover, I learned that somedays I can't seem to catch the fish!!!! But I will tell you all thats he is a great guide and a fun guy to fish with. And I would STRONGLY suggest that he be hired. He knows a lot about the lake. We had some interesting talks about topics unrelated to fishing as well. I will hire him again soon and I would also suggest to Tyler to study up on his science before we go as I will be quizzing him on the various classes of fishes found in the midwest.
