Default And even another new guide on shelbyville

Just kidding but maybe this will help the thread get some views for the Springfield Crappie Club.

I have been asked when I am going to get the apps on our website.

A: not for a couple weeks but they will be mailed also. Anyone who fished a tourney in 2010 or 2011 will get open buddy forms in the mail. Those who fished previous to that will have to download it from the site because we are not spending the money sending apps to people who don't fish regularly.

Now that was innovative there sparky! LOL!
If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.

I was looking at another post that included some dates and posted a question that I will post here again. Will there not be an Open on Sangchris this spring?

March 31st is the SCC Open at Sangchris.
Give a man a fish and feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish and he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day!

You guys that know me, know I like to have fun and not knock people down so I had to use the guides as a little "fun'n" element.

Kyle, we are a definite for Twain, hopefully Truman and another, not sure, Spud has a baby boy coming in June sometime so that will keep us from a few tourneys. Are you going to be at Elmwood?

Bill, the SCC will probably never have a tourney on evergreen because of the hp limit. Some guys complain about sangchris so we don't go there for club tourneys either. HOI did have a tourney there last year I believe. Check the link at the top to see for sure.

As long as they are not during the spawn I don't care but the lake is not big enough to put an extra 20 boats out pulling big females that the lake needs to keep up the population. I am not a believer in having tourneys on small lakes at all! Even Sangchris is pushing it, and it is 5 to 6 times bigger than evergreen. there is a possibility of having 40+ boats at the scc tourney pulling big fish out that won't get the chance to spawn. Crappie Masters does it right with a release boat and trying there best to keep fish alive! Not all tourneys have those resources but most of us have an oxygen system so if you can keep the fish alive and dump them back in the lake that is best.
