My domain name ( web address) was registered in her name, which I was unaware of to start with. So I requested it to be transfered back into my name. He agreed over the phone and then in the same day switched my domain name into his name and move the site to a different host. Moving the site automatically locks it for 60 days which is what i'm going through right now. The guy that is going to build my new site says he's basically stealing my name and is wanting me to buy it back from him. He said this happens fairly often and they usually go for at least a couple thousand to get it back. So we'll se what happens but I may have to get a new web address and start over is how it is sounding to me. I'll keep you'll posted and if I have to get a new address I'll announce it to everyone and hope you guys will help me spread the word! So any one who has their own site, just make sure everything is in your name. I would have if I new more about the internet but before I had a site I didn't even no what a domain name was...lol!Quote:
